We, Kobelco Eagle Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. are pleased to announce that our company name will be changed to,
KEMEL CO., LTD.
effective as of 10 May 2010, due to the fact that our major shareholder Eagle Industry acquires the remaining share from Kobe Steel, so that we will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Eagle Industry. As a consequence of the significant achievements which Kobelco Eagle Marine have done since its formed as a joint venture company of Eagle Industry and Kobe Steel, the aim of this strategic decision is to focus further growth, strengthen our position in the global market and intensify cooperative relationships with our valued partners worldwide.
As a result of the change, the company names of our overseas subsidiary are also to be respectively changed to,
Singapore: KEMEL ASIA PACIFIC PTE. LTD.
Europe (England): KEMEL EUROPE LIMITED
KEMEL SEAL SERVICES LIMITED
USA: KEMEL USA INC.
The use of Kobelco brand is basically terminated from the day however as interim transition measure in order to avoid any confusions/ inconveniences it is permitted only within one (1) year from now to use Kobelco along with our new name as follows; KEMEL CO., LTD (ex name Kobelco Eagle Marine Engineering Co., Ltd.) We do hope this will be of assistance to enhance recognition of new name KEMEL to the parties concerned in the market. Our contact details stay the same, except the email domain which will be ‘@kemel.com’ instead of ‘@kobelcoeagle.com’ in current use. We will inform you at the time when our system gets ready.
Along with the change, we are committed to continue improving our services as ever before, and are confident that the new arrangement will only enhance what we can offer to you.
